Calissons and Callisous (Mini Calissons) are Traditional French Candies made of candied fruit peels (melons and oranges) and ground Almonds.
Daniel Maffren built Maffren Confiseur in the 1950s when he settled down in the village of Poët post-war. Built on the premises of a former chocolate factory, he transformed the plant into one that manufactured Calissons and Nougats from Provence.
