Haricot Tarbais beans were originally cultivated by the Aztecs, and for centuries now, by farmers in Tarbes, France.
The main actors of Cooperative du Haricot Tarbais are Clement and Pierre Winery. Pierre has been farming with his family since 2009. As a lover of gardening, he wanted to grow something new but also local so he chose the Tarbais beans. He and his cousin Pierre have been growing these beans since 2015.
